planis.ai is a product of Begovo Inc, a company registered in Wyoming, USA. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we store it, and what rights you have. We have written it in plain language because we believe you should not need a lawyer to understand how your data is handled.

Who we are
planis.ai is operated by Begovo Inc, registered in Wyoming, United States. When this policy refers to "we", "us", or "our", it means Begovo Inc.
What data we collect
We collect the following categories of data:
Account data
- Your name, email address, and password when you create an account.
- Your company or agency name if you choose to provide it.
Profile and branding data
- Specialist profile details (name, role, phone, photo) you add in Settings.
- Agency branding details (logo, accent colour, tagline) you configure for your plans.
Plan and proposal data
- All content you create, import, paste, or upload within planis.ai, including trip details, accommodation data, pricing, images, and client information.
Invoice data
- Invoice details you create, including line items, payment terms, and client details.
Billing data
- Payment card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe. We do not store your full card number. We receive from Stripe: card brand, last four digits, expiry date, billing country, and transaction records.
Usage data
- Pages visited, features used, plan creation events, credit usage, and session duration. Collected to improve the product and monitor service health.
Device and browser data
- IP address, browser type, operating system, and device type. Collected automatically through standard server logs.
Communication data
- Emails or messages you send to info@planis.ai or through any in-product feedback mechanism.
How we use your data
We use your data for the following purposes:
- To provide and operate planis.ai, including creating plans, generating PDFs, publishing share links, and processing invoices.
- To process payments and manage your subscription through Stripe.
- To send transactional emails (welcome, billing confirmations, invoice notifications, password resets).
- To improve the product based on aggregated usage patterns.
- To respond to support requests.
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
AI processing
planis.ai uses third-party AI services (currently OpenAI) to generate and refine plan content. When you use AI features, the relevant plan content (trip details, descriptions, destinations) is sent to the AI provider for processing.
- AI providers process your data to return results and may retain it temporarily in accordance with their own data processing agreements.
- We do not send your billing data, payment details, or account password to any AI provider.
- You can edit or replace any AI-generated content before publishing.
We review our AI provider agreements periodically to ensure they meet our data protection standards.
Third-party services
We use the following third-party services to operate planis.ai:

Each provider processes data under their own privacy policy and our data processing agreements. We select providers that offer industry-standard security and, where applicable, GDPR-compliant processing.
Cookies
planis.ai uses cookies strictly for:
- Session management (keeping you logged in).
- Security (CSRF protection).
- Remembering your preferences (e.g. billing toggle state).
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies. We do not participate in cross-site tracking networks.
If you disable cookies in your browser, some features (such as staying logged in) may not work correctly.
Data storage and security
- Your data is stored on servers hosted by our infrastructure provider with encryption at rest and in transit (TLS 1.2+).
- Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms. We never store passwords in plain text.
- Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel only.
- We perform regular backups of all data.
- Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified.
Data retention
- Account data is retained for as long as your account is active.
- After cancellation, your account enters read-only mode. Your data remains accessible to you.
- If you request account deletion, we will delete your account and associated data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain records (e.g. billing records for tax purposes).
- Transactional email logs are retained for up to 12 months.
- Server logs are retained for up to 90 days.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access - request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Correction - request correction of inaccurate data.
- Deletion - request deletion of your account and data.
- Export - request a machine-readable export of your data.
- Objection - object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Restriction - request that we limit how we process your data.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or any jurisdiction with equivalent data protection legislation, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
International transfers
planis.ai is operated from the United States. If you access the service from outside the United States, your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.
Children
planis.ai is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will delete their account and associated data promptly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
Your continued use of planis.ai after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
